Amazing discussion, a short video about Alzheimer's. Alzheimer’s Is Not Normal Aging — And We Can Cure It | Samuel Cohen | TE...

I feel it is important to advocate for more research money. It sounds like there is hope for families and friends who live with the effects of Alzheimer's.
Many, many years ago I was a C.N.A in a geriatric facility and saw first hand the effects of Alzheimer's on patients and families, it left me scarred with sadness; I found this video to be very helpful and informative.....It is also very encouraging to me.

Blessings to you all.

An Update and~Twins get 'mystifying' DNA ancestry test results (Marketplace)

Our son Justin purchased one of these kits for me as a Christmas gift. I have followed the directions and sent it off in the mail and hope to hear from the ancestry company in 3 to 4 weeks. I am not expecting any surprises, I think my family maybe a bit dull but I will find out soon enough. I will let you know if anything interesting pops up.  Have you ever taken one of these ancestry test?
A little update below :)

Yesterday was our oldest son Jacobs birthday, (35) and our 4th grandchild Levi,  7th month old celebration.
I have a lot to thank God for!!!

I have just finished another round of antibiotics. The last 18 to 23 months I have had one diverticulitis attack after another. It looks like I may be having surgery....I will try to avoid it, but this chronic fatigue and pain is wearing me out.  I do "offer it up" for the conversion and healing of you and family members. Lately someone named Isabella has been on my heart and in my prayers?

Jennifer
Justin is doing really well and continues to heal. He still has to take heart medication, (the extremely strong chemo may have caused some of the heart issues). Jennifer our daughter is doing well and her 2 children Isla Rose and Finnian are thriving.

Blessings,

  3. Heat a skillet with oil (enough to cover the bottom of the skillet) and fry in olive oil, about 2-3 min per side until golden
  4. Remove patties to a metal cooling rack set over a sheet pan lined with paper towel to catch any excess oil. Serve warm or at room temperature or cool then freeze in an airtight container.

A "vintage train" ride. Enjoy the sounds of long ago, ( and yes, I did get soot on me). This is a coal powered steam train.
