Bronze statues of "wild life on the run" in Unity Maine~God Bless America on its Birthday!

These statues are on the lawn of the Unity Historical Building. The town of Unity, is near the towns of: Liberty, Freedom, and not far from the Town Of Hope, ( I sense a theme:). I did not see who the artist was, but I will find out.  The statues are bigger than they look. All of these animals are native to the Maine woods. There is a "hunting season" for each of these animals as well.

The town of Unity also has a large
Amish Community. "The Amish (/ˈɑːmɪʃ/Pennsylvania GermanAmischGermanAmische) are a group of traditionalist Christian church fellowships with Swiss Anabaptist origins. They are closely related to, but distinct from, Mennonitechurches. The Amish are known for simple livingplain dress, and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology. The history of the Amish church began with a schism in Switzerland within a group of Swiss and Alsatian Anabaptists in 1693 led by Jakob Ammann.[2] Those who followed Ammann became known as Amish.[3]"

Not far from these is Unity "pond", (it is really a lake) where I had
a nice Kayak ride.

The Maine Black Bear.

God Bless America, guide her, forgive her, and have Mercy upon her. Please, Father in heaven bring the USA back to YOU!

A "vintage train" ride. Enjoy the sounds of long ago, ( and yes, I did get soot on me). This is a coal powered steam train.
