Join us May 5, 2018, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland for
the 7th annual Maine Catholic Women's Conference. The conference will
feature dynamic speakers, the "His Own" music ministry, Mass, adoration,
and vendors.

Keynote Speaker

This year's keynote speaker is Sister Miriam James Heidland,
a member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, who has
traveled throughout the world inviting others to deepen their
relationship with God.  Once a successful college athlete attracted to a
partying lifestyle, Sister Miriam James says she wasn't truly happy
until she found God. She shared her story in the 2014 book, Loved as I Am, An Invitation to Conversion, Healing, and Freedom through Jesus.

Featured Presentation

The
conference will also feature a talk by Colleen Stratton, a
victim-survivor of human trafficking and a member of the outreach team
for Eye Heart World, a
nonprofit dedicated to combatting human trafficking.  Eye Heart World
provides aftercare resources for trafficking victims, prevention for
at-risk youth, and training for professionals and community members.

Music Ministry

Enjoy the "His Own"
music and ministry, featuring Kara Klein, Maria Spears, and Christine
Simpson. "His Own" was formed by the three friends who wanted to combine
their love for Jesus, passion for music, and desire to proclaim the joy
of the feminine heart. Through their music and ministry, they hope to
inspire women to come before the Lord as they are, to encounter his
unique love for them, and to be reminded of the eternal measure of their
feminine dignity and worth.

Cost

The cost of the conference is $55 for those who register by April 6
and $60 afterwards. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.
Registration opens March 5 and closes April 30.

Hotel Accommodations

A reduced rate is available for those who wish to book a room at the
Holiday Inn By the Bay. Call the hotel at 1-800-345-5050 and mention the
Catholic Women's Conference when booking.

A "vintage train" ride. Enjoy the sounds of long ago, ( and yes, I did get soot on me). This is a coal powered steam train.
